THE GRUPPO EUROMOBIL AT ART VERONA 2026

From 9 to 11 October 2026, the Gruppo Euromobil will take part in the 21st edition of ArtVerona as Main Sponsor, reflecting the connection with art that has been a cornerstone of the Group’s culture for over forty years.

Since 1982, the Group has developed its evolution guided by a distinctive principle combining design, art and sport as synergistic factors of the brand’s construction. This connection stems, first and foremost, from the passion of brothers Gaspare, Antonio, Fiorenzo and Giancarlo Lucchetta, who over time have fostered a direct and personal relationship with the world of art. This journey started with local artists and gradually opened up to the international landscape, without ever losing its authentic character.

Over the years, the Group has supported and promoted more than 600 initiatives, spanning different eras and moods and participating, among other things, in the staging of prestigious exhibitions dedicated to the great masters, such as Leonardo at the Louvre, and Impressionists including Monet, Renoir, and Cézanne, through to the intense styles of Van Gogh and Gauguin.

At the same time, the Gruppo Euromobil explored the fundamental movements of the 20th century: from Spatialism to Kinetic Art and Analytical Art, while always keeping a careful and sensitive eye on contemporary research.

For the Gruppo Euromobil, its cultural activities are a natural extension of its corporate identity: design is not merely function or aesthetic but becomes experience, narrative, and a connection between disciplines.  The merging of art and design is the principle that guides each and every project and in doing so helps to create interiors able to transmit value, culture, and vision.

Today, this journey continues with the same passion and determination, with the conviction that the dialogue between art and design is a fundamental tool for interpreting the present and imagining the future.

We look at art in order to grow and improve in our everyday work. We firmly believe that design and art are united by the same need to enrich the soul and life of mankind, by taking us far away, to wherever we can find vision, imagination and new energy.

The personality and work of Carmelo Zotti occupy a privileged position within this outlook. More than just a great painter, he was an extraordinary personality, and spending time with him provided us with the opportunity to grow as humans.

The focus that we have, over the years, directed with increasing conviction towards the work of Carmelo Zotti is evidenced by the many editorial and cultural initiatives (such as the General Catalogue of Paintings published by Skira) that we have promoted for over forty years, certain that we were dealing with one of the greatest artists not only in Italy, but also at a European and international level. This is why we are now happy, almost twenty years after his death, to pay him this affectionate, dutiful and grateful tribute.

During his long tenure as the Chair of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, Zotti was followed and admired by a large number of students not only from Italy, but also from Central Europe, the Balkan countries and Germany.

His evolution was profoundly affected by his being awarded first prize in the UNESCO International Competition in 1962 and the Longo Award for the best participating young artist at the 32nd Venice Biennale in 1964.

With all this in mind, we were particularly pleased when the management of ArtVerona decided to dedicate the 2026 edition of the Gruppo Euromobil Under 35 award to Carmelo Zotti.

However, participation in ArtVerona will be just the first of a new cycle of initiatives and events, including the highly-prestigious exhibition at the MACA - Atchugarry Museum of Contemporary Art, in Uruguay, which will take the work of Carmelo Zotti overseas.

Fittingly, the exhibition will open on 16 May 2027, on the 20th anniversary of the Maestro’s death, and will close the following 14 November, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday.
