    Christo and Jeanne-Claude in Uruguay

    MACA (The Atchugarry Museum of Contemporary Art), Uruguay's first major contemporary art museum is inaugurated with an international retrospective exhibition entitled "Christo and Jeanne-Claude in Uruguay". It is a collection of more than 50 works from the artists' families and private collectors coming to South America for the first time. It provides an overview of the work in different formats: photographs, drawings, collages and projects. The Foundation has published a bilingual Spanish-English catalogue with a detailed history, an intimate interview with the artists and images of all the works in the exhibition.

    Over 40 works from different years of production, chosen to dialogue with the evocative architecture of the place where they are located.     Atchugarry: Heroic Activities

    Hollis Taggart Galleries is pleased to present the first New York show of Pablo Atchugarry’s marble sculpture. The Uruguayan-born artist, who lives and works in Lecco, Italy, works with marble and bronze to create pieces that are both elegant and imposing. No undertaking is too daunting for him—from the 2003 Venice Biennale installation representing Uruguay, to the private commission of a five-story high sculpture hewn from a single block of Carrara marble, to the more intimately scaled works on view in the gallery. In white Carrara marble, and pink Portugal and Iran marbles, these pieces fold, layer, and undulate. Atchugarry effectively works the medium to appear both weightless and substantial.

    Over 40 large format works are exhibited in the Loggia Foscari Doge's Palace. An extraordinary event that the city of Venice is one of the greatest living Italian artists. In the courtyard are placed two large sculptures that welcome thousand of visitors daily visit the palace of the Doges. The inaugural event, the presence of the Superintendent of Venice and Prof. Dr. Codello and Prof. Curatola, University of Udine, took place in the prestigious Hall of Piovego. The exhibition is made possible by the Superintendence for Architectural and landscape of Venice took advantage of the valuable contribution of Euromobil Group.

    Finzi. From black to no color. Works 1950-2010

    The black gives happiness and relaxation. Ennio Finzi is convinced that the great exhibition that was organized by Villa Contarini in Piazzola sul Brenta, "the palace of the Venetian Villas", selected works all "From Black to no color."     Le Corbusier a Punta del Este: a complete exposition of the great revolutionary of modern architecture, presented the Foundation Pablo Atchugarry.     A truly unique opportunity for the Italian scene, this exhibition of one of the greatest artists of the twentieth century: Piet Mondrian. Possibile exposure to the generous collaboration of the Gemeentemuseum Hague - which houses the largest collection of works by Mondrian - and thanks to private providers and other museums that work together to ensure that the exhibition documents in full the artistic career of the artist. One hundred works illustrate the entire research of Mondrian, from his beginnings as a landscape, in the vein of traditional realism Dutch Hague School, to geometric shapes with black stripes intersecting planes white lines defining squares of red, yellow and blue, works for which it is best known.

    Gauguin – Van Gogh. The adventure of the new color

    Not easy to find, in Italy, in the exhibition history of the last decades, a show that has in it, such as this, the signs of the magnitude is so strong for both the two names that illustrate both the works that will be convened. Gauguin and Van Gogh, of course along with Cézanne and Monet, the fathers of so much twentieth-century painting.     Directly from the Hall of States the Louvre Museum in Paris, which houses the "Mona Lisa" of Leonardo, ten masterpieces of Italian painting of the sixteenth century arrived in the exhibition of the Museum of Santa Giulia in Brescia. The exhibition, curated by Vincent Pomarède and Jean Habert, investigates the sixteenth-century Venetian art through two different genres of painting: portraits and religious subjects. In addition to the great writers of the sixteenth century Venetian, visitors can admire the works of lesser known artists who participate in the extraordinary cultural milieu of the Renaissance: the case of Francesco Bassano the Younger in "The Road to Calvary," Gianfrancesco Caroto with "The rest on the Flight into Egypt, "and John Cariani with a" Madonna and Child with St. Sebastian, "to name just a few.

    Leonardo Da Vinci, drawings and manuscripts

    More than 130 designs - including 85 original Tuscan master and 47 of his students - three paintings, manuscripts and 12 second album "caricatures" are the extensive collection of works that will, from May 9 to July 14, to retrace some essential steps of the artistic, intellectual and human of the great painter. With the Euromobil, Zalf and Desiree brands – all leaders in the furniture system and accessories sector - Gruppo Euromobil was the main partner of the Art Show in Bologna from 2007 to 2018.

Moreover, during the twelve editions of the show, the Gruppo Euromobil Award was conferred to young Italian and foreign artists who thereafter earned themselves important spaces in the art system, confirming the validity of the choices made. The award wanted to promote a young artist who was able to express his understanding of contemporary life through various visual art languages. The practical outcome of having won the Award took on a concrete form by Gruppo Euromobil purchasing the winning artwork.
