EUROMOBIL | Milano Design Week 15_21.04.2024


On the occasion of the Milano Design Week 2024, the Euromobil Flagship Store at Corso Monforte 30/3 in Milan will transform to showcase the company’s new proposals for modular kitchens. The spotlight will be on the new Levitas Glass, Levitas Alu, and Margo compositions designed by architect Roberto Gobbo along with the Euromobil R&D team, the Tè table accompanied by chairs and stools designed by Setsu & Shinobu Ito, and the latest restyling of the SEI kitchen by Marc Sadler.

Lightness, along with transparency and sustainability, are the guiding principles behind Levitas Glass, Levitas Alu, and Margo, the new kitchens designed by Euromobil’s Art Director, architect Roberto Gobbo, together with the Euromobil R&D team. A collection that reflects the company's commitment to responsible and avant-garde design, representing not only functionality and contemporary design but also a deep connection with ancient cultural heritage.

The term levitas evokes the idea of lightness and movement, inspired by the fluidity of air: the Levitas kitchen embodies this concept through an airy and elegant design characterized by clean lines and transparent materials that impart a sense of spaciousness to the environment.

The Levitas composition comes in two versions, Glass and Alu.

Levitas Alu comes to life through aluminum, a ductile and resilient material that is extremely lightweight. The 22 mm thick honeycomb door is in aged brass lacquer finish. In the kitchen, the presence of this element is evident in the doors of the wall units and the inner part of the island bases. The shine of the thin aluminum edging that perimetrically surrounds the two sides of the door contributes to infusing a contemporary aesthetic into the entire kitchen.

Glass and aluminum, transparency and lightness, meet at the point of sustainability. These are fully recyclable materials that never lose their original qualities. Their processing ensures that the glass is not glued to the aluminum, so the pane can easily be removed to separate the pieces for recycling at the end of their life. Euromobil thus reaffirms its commitment to environmental sustainability, presenting eco-friendly and responsible solutions.

The Margo Island draws inspiration from an image of rigour and symmetry. The name, from the Latin margo-marginis, emphasizes the characteristic thin 14 mm perimeter frame that runs along its ends, highlighting the know-how with which it was made. The doors, with integrated handles in a bronze finish, are in bleached sanded-effect oak, adding warmth to the spaces. The top, 6 cm thick, as well as one of the two sides, is in Breccia Imperiale marble, a natural stone with warm, impactful material nuances. This marble dresses in a brown base tone, interspersed with shades ranging from coffee to chestnut, along with small white colour accents that break up the pattern, thus adding more movement and dynamism to the stone. The Margo Island is flanked by a table with a Breccia Imperiale marble structure, rigorous and stately. Behind the island stands the Folding Cabinet that contains the operational area in TSS Opus mattone with wall-mounted overhead cabinets in Super Matt Pomice lacquered finish, framing the composition like a sort of bridge structure. Margo also extends to the matching tall units in bleached sanded-effect oak finish with the characteristic perimeter frame and flush vertical handles, serving as freestanding elements.

Designed by the Japanese duo Setsu & Shinobu, the new table represents an expansion of the Tè line with its clear organic and essential aesthetics. The structure is in black-tinted metal and charcoal-stained ash with a Breccia Imperiale marble top.

Six years after its launch, the SEI kitchen by Marc Sadler is updated with an Oyster anodized lacquer finish, wall units, and front bases in sanded-effect nero grafite chestnut veneer. A true celebration of lightness, SEI is named after the ultra-thin thickness (6 millimeters) of its worktops, sides, shelves, and accessories. Inspired by the utmost creative freedom, today it stands out for the over 50 finishes available, including natural stone, stainless steel, Fenix laminate, wood, and lacquer.

The organization of space within the Euromobil Flagship Store follows a circular path, both clockwise and anti-clockwise. There's no pre-set flow, but rather the concept of enjoying a fluid space where barriers segregating the areas have not been erected. The aesthetic of the showroom is illuminated by sophisticated lighting fixtures, which highlight the sculptural presence of the islands.

Guided by the principles of transparency, lightness, and sustainability, Euromobil reaffirms its commitment to responsible innovation, showcasing kitchens defined by airy designs and recyclable materials, proving that environmental consideration can coexist with the creation of beautiful and functional spaces.
