GRUPPO EUROMOBIL AND ART | Christo and Jeanne-Claude in Uruguay

The MACA opens on 8 January 2022 with an international retrospective exhibition entitled "Christo and Jeanne-Claude in Uruguay". It is a collection of more than 50 works from the family of the artists and private collectors that are coming to South America for the first time. It will provide an overview of the work in different formats: photographs, drawings, collages and plans. The Foundation will publish a bilingual Spanish-English catalogue with a detailed history, an intimate interview with the artists and images of all the works on display in the exhibition. Christo and Jeanne-Claude's last exhibition opened on 18 September this year in Paris where they packed the Arc de Triomphe with twenty-five thousand square metres of fabric with almost three kilometres of red rope, following the artists' plans and instructions.
