Will open Monday, September 19 at 18:00 at the renovated home of Metelkova, Ljubljana, Slovenia's National Museum of the exhibition: "Alberto Biasi - The 60s the years 2000" by Aleksander Bassin and John Granzotto, made in collaboration with the Art Studio GR

Promoted and sponsored from I. N.A.C. National Institute of Contemporary Art-in collaboration with the National Museum of Slovenia and with the support of the Slovenian Ministry of Culture and the Italian Ministry of Heritage and Culture, the exhibition presents some forty works are divided into two major groups creating a temporal comparison between the '60s and the 2000s the production of the Master Padua. The first part of the exhibition is represented by a major selection of historical works drawn primarily from the cycles of the twists and surveys optical-dynamic, this is also custom two sculptures bright light prisms and some rare optical measurements. The second section is dedicated to the latest assembly, at the end of this will be also presented examples of a brand new artistic cycle just started by Biasi.

Artist from the lively production, as well as fine art theorist, comes back after some time in Slovenia. As stated Aleksander Bassin, in fact, "His name was also present in our territories in the 60s in three international exhibitions including one in Zagreb (New Trends, from 1961 onwards), where the collection of the Museum of Modern Art retain its important "polytype M" (1966-68). To accompany the exhibition Towards Art Editions published a volume of 96 color pages that collects images of all the works on show and introduces the correct reading of the work of the Master by means of some critical essays signed by the two curators and critic 'Art Alberto Pasini.

The exhibition is made possible by the support of GROUP EUROMOBIL, will be open to the public until October 23, 2011 the museum observing times: Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00 to 18.00.
