The unique exhibition of 22 photographs fine art of Ezio Prandini "Delicious colors" will be at the Fine Arts Gallery Pavesi in Milan, April 12 to 28.
In the photographs 700 x 700mm, inkjet print on paper, 100% cotton, made by Ezio Prandini, the creations will be part of the king of vasocottura, Cristian Mometti. To combine plates and camera are two factors: the friendship between the two artists and the Euromobil Group which have both been working together. Mometti creates its delicacies of cuisines Euromobil group for which Prandini photographer, skillfully interpreting the ideas and design details signed by architects around the world.
They arise an exhibition of photographs and a book that watering in the mouth but also show that the interpretation of a dish, its colors, its shades, and especially its "flavors" of operation and fine art when creating it is a true artist.
All creations of Mometti interpreted by Prandini have been realized with the technique of Vasocottura. Mometti adopted it and made the gourmets appreciate today, taking it back to a forgotten past. The vasocottura in fact refers to the ancient culinary traditions of the Balkan territories, when foods were cooked slowly in its own juices in cast iron pots closed and then covered with embers Doing the dishes remain juicy and retained their authentic flavor. The vasocottura Cristian Mometti recovers this tradition and reinterprets in a modern, simple and practical but also very charming and especially exciting for the palate. Mometti has already revealed his recipes, enhanced by photos of Ezio Prandini, in the book "Vasocottura", published by the Cultural Association "Club Magnar Ben".
The encounter with the magical vials and the alchemical transformations Mometti, meant for Ezio Prandini a story of friendship and passion. "I, who, notes the artist, I photographed everything in my life, but not the food, I got thrown with enthusiasm. For three days we really enjoyed taking pictures, my wife Jacqueline has inspired me as a stylist, Cristian us delighted with its unsettling combinations of both taste and color. And we, concludes satisfied, even ate almost all its delicious food "
This passion, head and belly, you feel all the images that Antonio Manta (www.progettobam.com) has selected and printed on fine art paper museum for the exhibition in Milan, sometimes choosing to deviate from the selection already made for the volume "Vasocottura" which won the award for best book of the year and quarter Italian food in the world, awarded by the Gourmand World Cookbooks Awards.
"With his photographs - Dino Marangon wrote in the presentation of the exhibition - Ezio Prandini not limited to yield almost trompe l'oeil of the external aspects of the various components of different dishes, but tried to make us understand the quality, juices, essences, the secret energy implicit in them.
Has pursued this goal using a vision imminent, can, in many ways, to go beyond the forms, to delve into the mysteries of the subjects, in the secrets of approaches and processes, exploring the many phenomena of taste through the most careful scanning cadences of vision plans, obtained by an accurate precision of focused and measured no less blur.
Here then, as emerging from the elusive whiteness of funds, look out the edges of the image of the spotted appearances brûlés, the delicious gilding, ultra-light emulsions, velvety density or intensity of penetrating gravies and sauces, savory or sweet, sour, spicy or delicate, the translucent textures of caramels.
Condensate clouds of flavor, green, budding of luxuriance, hair succulenze, umorose liquidity, spicy or sweet creams occupy the scene, permeated by a color wraparound yet articolatissimo in a wide variety of timbres and tones continuously moved and enlivened by the modulation of the highly mobile lights, reflections and transparencies.
In some respects back to mind the worlds of the great virtuoso still lifes of the seventeenth and eighteenth century.
But here, more than on the stillness and silence of inanimate things, the eye of the photographer ravvicinatissimo vice versa seems to focus on the mysteries and secrets of vital dynamism inherent in the food, without forgetting the irresistible attractions of the throat, because, as he wrote the great Shakespeare in Romeo and Juliet: "For Madonna, sir, bad cook is someone who can not lick your fingers," while the good man makes me want to get it done to other ".
A story of friendship and passion.
