The kitchen is much more than a combination of furniture and appliances: is the heart of the house. For this reason the choice of his kitchen is so delicate every part, from the larger items, such as furniture, to the smallest details, such as dividers for drawers, is a key aspect in terms of style, taste and functionality.

Move "well" in the kitchen is essential in order to avoid wasting time: for example, usually it is suggested that the fridge next to the pantry (all areas of food storage should be close), with the next work area where food preparation and under drawers in which to hold what you need for cooking. The food "worked" is then washed, so close to the work area should be in the sink (with drainer over and waste bin below). Usually the water connections are grouped together, and will be located next to the sink dishwasher, and finally the hob with under oven (if you have no space to put it in a tall unit) and above the hood. In addition to all this furniture must think about the space to move around and to open the wall units: the designer will deepen with each of these aspects, with the aim to create a kitchen that is both functional and where you can feel at ease.

The choice of a model (linear, with a peninsula, with the central island ...) depends on the shape of the room as well as your tastes. If the room is long and narrow, the kitchen will be the most appropriate "in line" with all the kitchen items in a single wall. To maximize the space you can use the high wall units or over-hanging. Remember to include fridge, sink and stove in that in order to be more comfortable in the use of the kitchen. The kitchen "track" is selected when the room is a little larger, with fires and sink on one wall and the area to prepare, plus the oven and the pantry, on the other. The kitchen "corner" is indicated when you have two perpendicular walls, and a good solution may be to have one side dedicated to washing, the cooker in the corner, oven and refrigerator plus an area for preparing the other side and to center of the room to the table. If you have three walls for use in the kitchen then choose the kitchen "gulf", two sides to prepare food, one for cooking. The models that require more space are the island and the peninsula, the latter is constituted by an angle model plus a side that can be used as snack area. The island however is at the center of the room and integrates well with different models.
