“Riccardo Licata. Continuando”, curated by Giovanni Granzotto and Aleksander Bassin,at the prestigious National Museum of Slovenia, in the heart of Ljubljana.
The event enjoys the patronage of the Ministry of Culture of Slovenia, the National Museum of Slovenia, the National Institute of Contemporary Art and was developed in collaboration with the Art Studio GR and with the assistance of Euromobil Group.
The Museum houses for the first time Riccardo Licata, dedicating a staff in his newly renovated lounge intended for exhibitions of art, not always simultaneously, allowing the artist to exhibit his latest paintings, as well as some bronzes and glass, and to keep faith with just the title of the exhibition, "continue", a clear reference to the impressive artistic career of over sixty years Master brings his works all over the world.
Was published for this occasion a color catalog published by the publishing house Verso l'Arte containing all copies of the works on display, accompanied by a comprehensive biography of the Master, and his writings both in Italian and Slovenian Barbara Ravnik, Director National Museum of Slovenia, Anselmo Villata, President of the National Institute of Contemporary Art and the curators Giovanni Granzotto and Aleksander Bassin.
The inauguration will be attended by the Foreign Minister of Slovenia Samuel Zbogar, the Museum Director Barbara Ravnik, the First Secretary of the Embassy of Italy in Ljubljana Tommaso Coniglio, President INAC Anselmo Villata, critics and curators of Art the exhibition Giovanni Granzotto and Aleksander Bassin, in addition to Maestro Riccardo Licata.
