Linked to exposure with beautiful engravings of Albrecht Dürer, stored in Tosio Martinengo, this exhibition brings together fifteen sheets are printed, inspired by the great German master, especially made by Franco Dugo, one of the major Italian engravers that the graphics has always reserved a space of great importance in the production. Often, the themes are suggestions, ideas, elaborated by the great masters of the past, as the series dedicated to Rembrandt and many portraits of artists, taken from photos where the light and shade give smoother tone with white and white. A Dugo Dürer had already dedicated a series of works in the years between 1983 and 1988, dealing primarily to make the expressiveness of the famous "melancholia" has always been considered, in art history, a distinctive artist. The most fascinating aspect of the engravings of Dugo is the investigation lockout time to penetrate the subject - can be a human face, but also the trunk of a tree, in the splendid series dedicated to the landscape - for restituirne the end, through an unquestioned technical expertise, the lyrical feeling for the painful sense of life.
