As the same Stefanini says: "From the beginning, in painting, I have a close relationship almost obsessive with things that surround me. First a place, a house, then a room, a garden, and now a forest: the forest of Montello. »The forest, therefore, its colors, the infinite images that overlap and blur, creating a series of incessant feelings and emotions. All this says the painting of Stefanini, of '"vital energy that is released by this reality," and talks about it, putting on the trail of a light, a reflection. Why recreate what interests them in the context is not the true representation of realistic and what is around him, but rather "to investigate this point, or threshold, or limit, in which the subject still retains traces of itself, but it becomes more than starting point. »A painting where the color, a color" full, background, mellow” interwoven lives with forms "on the edge of the fade." And above all, light. In 2005, the Kunstverein in Mannheim (Germany) devotes a major personal, "LichtFlut" by director Martin Stateher.
